Our Constitution
Vikindu Runners Club operates strictly under our official Constitution (Katiba), ensuring transparency, accountability, and a clear vision for sports development in the Pwani region.
Our official languages are Swahili and English, ensuring inclusivity for all members, visiting runners, and international partners who wish to join our cause.
Leadership Structure
- Chairman: Directs policy, chairs the General Assembly, and is the primary signatory for club affairs.
- Vice Chairman: Provides operational support and steps in for the Chairman when required.
- Secretary: The Chief Executive Officer of the club, responsible for records, secretariats, and daily administration.
- Treasurer: Manages the club's financial year (June 1 - May 31), handles bank transactions, and prepares audits.
Membership Benefits
Registered members receive discounted entry fees to all Vikindu-organized events, access to weekly guided training sessions in Mkuranga, official club merchandise, and the opportunity to be scouted for regional Pwani Athletics Association events.
